Thin Film Equipment Services is a company specializing in Perkin Elmer Sputters. We provide systems for sale, field service, remanufacturing, and other technical services.

The company is owned by Greg Douglas, who began as a Field Engineer for Perkin Elmer Plasma Systems division in 1984 and has continued to support the tools after the Plasma Systems and Microlithography divisions were sold to SVG in the late 1980s. TFES was begun in 1992 in order to provide continued support.

Greg is considered by many to be the most proficient on these systems and has held service contracts with two major manufacturers over 15 years.  At one time he was supporting 16 systems under service contracts.

Based in Santa Clara, California he provides field service to many companies in the Bay Area and others throughout the USA, Canada and Asia. All field service and remanufacturing is performed by Greg Douglas.
